Casey Multi-Faith Network Bus Tour to Cemeteries

On a cold morning of Thursday 16 June 2016, twelve women from different faith and cultural backgrounds embarked a bus tour organised by the Casey Multifaith Network. It started of sunny but as the day progressed the clouds settled in and then it started pouring by the mid afternoon.

White Ribbon Day Luncheon 2015

On Thursday 19 November 2015, the Casey Multi-Faith Network hosted a luncheon to mark the White Ribbon Day held around the globe to raise awareness about the issues surrounding violence against women.

On Wednesday 14 October, the official launch of the website and promotional DVD was launched by the Casey Multi-Faith Network at the City of Casey Council Chambers.

Interfaith September Get-Together: Casey Multi-Faith Network

On Thursday 3 September, the Casey Multi-Faith Network held the Annual General meeting which incorporated the theme of Interfaith September, an initiative of the Uniting Church in Australia.

Tour to Places of Worship August 2015: Casey Multi-Faith Network

On Tuesday 11 August 2015, the Casey Multifaith Network hosted a tour to places of worship. 25 people attended the tour which covered places of worship in two municipalities: City of Casey and City of Greater Dandenong.

Meet the Artists Morning Tea: Casey Multi-Faith Network

On Saturday, 8 August 2015, the Casey Multi-Faith Network held a Meet the Artists Morning Tea at Doveton Library to promote and support the first ever Casey Multi-Faith Network Arts Exhibition.

Tour to Places of Worship: Islamic Museum

On Tuesday 16 June 2015, the Casey Multi-Faith Network visited the Islamic Museum of Australia. This visit was part of the Casey Winter Arts Festival and the second of the three tours organized by the Network each year.

Tour to Places of Worship: Buddhist Temple, Orthodox Church, Brahma Kumaris

On Thursday 12 March 2015, as part of Cultural Diversity week, the Casey Multifaith Network hosted a tour to places of worship. 28 people attended the tour which covered places of worship in three municipalities: City of Casey, City of Greater Dandenong and City of Frankston.

Casey Multi-Faith Forum: Preventing Family Violence

White Ribbon Day is marked around the world every year on 25th November to highlight the existence of family violence in an attempt to take a step towards its eradication. On 20th November 2014, the Casey Multifaith Network held forum entitled “Preventing Family Violence” to express their solidarity with the cause of the White Ribbon Foundation, which was attended by over 120 people of different faith backgrounds.

Casey Multi-Faith Event: Annual General Meeting

On the 23 October 2014, Casey MultiFaith Network held its 7th Annual Gathering at the Nossal High auditorium in Berwick. The gathering, entitled “Harmony in Diversity”, was chiefly organized by Pam Mamouney OAM, Vice President of the network.

Casey Multi-Faith Meeting: with Imam S. Wadood Janud

On  Monday 21 July 2014 at the City of Casey Council chambers, the President of the Casey Multi-faith Network Mr. Jim Reiher, Vice President Stephanie Saunders and Acting Treasurer Pam Mamouney OAM welcomed Imam S. Wadood Janud, the first Imam appointed at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association in Langwarrin.

Tour to Places of Worship: Scientology and Salvation Army

On Wednesday 18th June 2014, around 38 members and guests of the Casey Multifaith Network went on a Tour to Places of Worship. The group included several members of the executive committee, including the President Mr. Jim Reiher, plus people from various faith backgrounds such as  Hindus, Jews, Muslims, Spiritualists and various Christian denominations. Pam Mamouney OAM was the organizer and official guide.

Tour to Place of Worship: Synagogue, Lutheran and Reformed Church

On Tuesday the 22nd April 2014, 31 members and guests of the Casey Multifaith Network went on a Tour to Places of Worship. The tour began at 9:30am sharp leaving from Narre Warren North with Pam Mamouney OAM the official guide and organiser.

Tour to places of worship: Mosque, Orthodox and Anglican Church

Approximately 30 members of the Casey Multifaith Network participated in a tour to places of worship on Thursday 21st of November 2013. The tour started at 9:30am sharp leaving from the designated meeting place in Berwick.

Respect Paves the Way to Tolerance: Berwick News

RESPECT was the key word at the Casey Multi-faith Network’s sixth annual gathering earlier this month. The night, held at Nossal High School, included a range of performances from various international and religious groups as each person involved learned more about other cultures, and continues to do so.
